Meet Ellie Rickman, PhD

Ellie completed her PhD at The University of Auckland focusing her research on evaluating the impact of exercise on microvascular function and cardiorespiratory fitness in adults with coronary heart disease. Ellie serves as a board member for CEPNZ and is a strong advocated for advancing clinical exercise physiology in Aotearoa. Since completing her PhD, Ellie has been working in private practice, with a special interest in the utilisation of cardiopulmonary exercise testing in preventative and rehabilitative medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, and exercise rehabilitation to improve the lives of patients living with dysautonomia/POTS and EDS.

Meet Eleanor Nattrass

Eleanor completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at The University of Auckland in 2014 and currently serves as a board member for CEPNZ. Eleanor has been a pioneer in developing clinical exercise physiology in the private sector in New Zealand, bringing a wealth of clinical knowledge and experience. Eleanor's special interests include musculoskeletal conditions, POTS, and the ageing body.

Meet Anna Nelson

Lucy completed her Master’s degree at the University of Auckland, specialising in clinical exercise physiology. She has a strong interest in cardiac rehabilitation and is passionate about supporting people to engage in regular physical activity to promote longevity. Lucy believes in the importance of sustainable, individualised exercise programmes and enjoys working alongside clients to build confidence, improve physical function, and support long-term health and wellbeing through movement.

Meet Ashley Faulkner

Ashley completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Auckland. She is dedicated to utilising exercise as rehabilitation to enhance the quality of life in those living with chronic conditions. During her studies, Ashley developed a strong interest in women's health and the important role exercise has in maintaining joint health, bone health and muscle mass.
